A former college lecturer, born in Ireland, raised in Africa, schooled in Ireland and England. Has over 45 years of experience in construction technology, specializing in landscaping, hardscaping design and installation. Now living in the Chicago area, Paddy currently lectures at varying colleges and trade shows, specializing in teaching the nuances of Unilock’s  3D software, Uvision,  combined with their surveying apparatus, the Ulevel.

New for 2026! Thursday 1:30 – 3:45pm Heartsaver® First Aid classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches students critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) arrives. Students learn skills such as how to treat bleeding, sprains, broken bones, shock, respiratory, cardiac and other first aid emergencies.  This class is limited to 25 people –  This is hands only – will not obtain a CPR card – can do CPR until EMS arrives.   Must register for this class with Heartsaver First Aid site and use code plant – see below to register.  This class is included with your registration but you need to register separately.
