Science has evolved, but the internet keeps spreading garden myths that cost you time, money, and can harm your landscape. This talk will help you understand what works and what does not in a science-based, environmentally friendly and fun talk focusing on sustainable best practices for your home garden. Join us for a plant scientist’s look at the gardening do’s and don’ts going viral on Facebook, Pinterest, and other gardening websites. Your gardening questions will be answered as time allows.

This presentation is free of charge and open to the public.

Registration is encouraged by going to: www.niagaracc.suny.edu/frcae/garden.php or by emailing Maureen Winters at winters@niagaracc.suny.edu. Houseplants will be given out to the first 50 registrants in attendance.
